These Terms & Conditions apply to: (1) use of our website, (2) our services (including solar panel cleaning, roof cleaning, and ceramic coating), and (3) bookings, payments, cancellations and refunds.

By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

1) WEBSITE TERMS (USE OF SITE)

1.1 Information on our website

Content is provided for general information. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee it will always be complete or error-free.

1.2 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the website (including attempting to gain unauthorised access)

  • introduce viruses or harmful material

  • copy, scrape, or reuse website content without permission

1.3 Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, we own (or license) the website content, branding, text and images. You may view and print pages for your own use, but you must not reproduce or distribute content without written permission.

1.4 Links to other websites

Our website may link to third-party sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or policies.

1.5 Website availability

We may change, suspend, or withdraw the website at any time.

2) SERVICE TERMS (WHAT WE DO)

2.1 Quotes and scope

  • Quotes are based on the information you provide and/or a site assessment.

  • If conditions differ on arrival (access, roof type, heavy soiling, additional areas, safety requirements), we may revise the quote and agree changes with you before continuing.

2.2 Access, utilities and working area

You agree to provide:

  • safe access to the work area (including gates/paths/driveway access)

  • access to an outdoor water supply and/or electricity if required (unless agreed otherwise)

  • a clear working area (move vehicles, fragile items, and obstacles where possible)

2.3 Safety and right to refuse/stop work

We may refuse or stop work if, in our reasonable opinion, conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, including (but not limited to): unsafe roof access, fragile roofing, severe weather, high winds, ice, aggressive animals, unsafe surfaces, or hazards not disclosed.

If we stop work for safety reasons, we’ll discuss options (reschedule, partial service, or cancellation).

2.4 Weather

Some services depend on safe weather conditions. If weather prevents safe completion, we may reschedule at the next available date.

2.5 Results and limitations

Cleaning and treatments can improve appearance and performance, but results vary depending on age/condition of surfaces, staining, oxidation, lichen/moss, previous coatings, shading, and panel/roof condition. We do not guarantee specific performance gains (for example, a specific increase in solar output).

2.6 Pre-existing damage and fragile surfaces

You agree to tell us about known issues (leaks, cracked tiles, loose fittings, damaged panels, faulty gutters, fragile roof lights, etc.). We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues that become apparent during/after cleaning due to the underlying condition of the surface.

2.7 Solar panels – important notes

We clean externally accessible panel surfaces only, unless agreed otherwise. We do not open, dismantle, or repair solar systems. If we identify visible defects (cracks, loose wiring, damaged mounts), we may recommend you contact a qualified installer/electrician.

2.8 Roof cleaning – important notes

Roof cleaning methods vary by roof type and condition. Where agreed, we may use soft washing/biocide treatments. Some organic regrowth may return over time; maintenance may be required.

2.9 Ceramic coating / protective treatments

If you purchase a coating/treatment, durability depends on preparation, surface condition, and ongoing exposure. You must follow any aftercare guidance we provide. We do not guarantee a specific lifespan unless explicitly stated in writing.

2.10 Photos and marketing

We may take before/after photos for quality and records. We will only use identifiable photos for marketing if you give permission or if agreed in writing.

3) BOOKINGS, PRICING, PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

3.1 Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed when we accept it (by message/email).

3.2 Pricing and VAT

Prices are in GBP. We do not collect VAT, non VAT registered.

3.3 Payment terms

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due within 24 hours of the work being completed.
Accepted payment methods: [bank transfer / card / cash / payment link].

For business customers, late payments may be subject to statutory interest and recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

3.4 Cancellations by you (48-hour notice)

You may cancel by contacting us using the details above.

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours before the appointment: no charge.

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of the appointment, or if we attend and cannot start due to no access or conditions you control: we may charge a reasonable fee to cover reserved time and scheduling costs.

3.5 Rescheduling

You may request to reschedule. We’ll do our best to accommodate. If rescheduling is requested within 48 hours, we may treat it as a late cancellation unless we agree otherwise.

3.6 If we need to cancel or reschedule

We may need to reschedule due to weather, illness, equipment issues, or safety concerns. If we cancel, you can choose a rescheduled date.

3.7 Refunds

Refunds are considered where you paid for a service we did not provide, or where we agree a refund in writing. We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction based solely on factors outside our control (pre-existing staining, surface wear, permanent marks, underlying damage) or changes in solar output due to factors unrelated to cleaning (weather, shading, system faults).

3.8 Right to cancel (online/phone bookings – consumers)

If you are a consumer and you book at a distance (online/phone), you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to start work within that 14-day period, you may lose the right to cancel once the service is completed, and you may need to pay for work already carried out if you cancel after work has started.

4) LIABILITY (IMPORTANT)

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit/business/revenue (especially for business customers), issues caused by pre-existing defects/hidden damage/poor maintenance, or delays/non-performance due to events outside our reasonable control (including weather and access issues).

5) COMPLAINTS

If you have a concern, contact us as soon as possible with details and photos where relevant. We aim to resolve issues fairly and promptly.

6) PRIVACY

Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7) CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on our website applies at the time you book/use the site.

8) GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless consumer law provides otherwise.
